Welcome to the Technical and Training Unit of Ups Farm Ltd. where we grow more than just crops and livestock. We grow the next generation of agricultural leaders.
Since 2018, our mission has been rooted in excellence. We began by building the skills of our own farm and operations teams. Recognizing a critical gap in the industry, we quickly expanded, providing world-class workforce training to external farms at all operational levels.
Our impact speaks for itself. In October 2019, we launched a landmark, three-year partnership with the Abia State Government, the World Bank, and the Central Bank of Nigeria under the Accelerated Agricultural Development Scheme. Together, we trained over 600 vibrant youth and farmers, successfully launching new agricultural enterprises and placing a massive wave of skilled graduates into rewarding jobs.
Today, a new chapter begins right here in our locality, Nbawsi, Isiala Ngwa North L.G.A., Abia State.
As Training Service Provider with the Federal Ministry of Education and the IDEAS-TVET initiative, we are thrilled to announce the Professional Poultry Production and Enterprise Development Programme.
If you are a local youth (male, female, physically challenged) looking to build a real career, this is your moment. Over the course of six months, you will master the business and science of both Broiler and Layer production. Best of all, participants will receive a stipend while learning.
